PCP was founded by a group of physicians passionate about helping poor and needy people in our community. As a physician, you can share your valuable time in helping people. If red-tape is keeping you from taking care of people in need, PCP can take care of that for you. Not only will you gain happiness but also many other benefits like credit hours required for board certification...
How is PCP able to provide free healthcare services?
All participating physicians receive no financial compensation for their efforts and time. PCP is able to provide these services for free through the generosity of member physicians and our incredible team of volunteers.
I need help with getting my medications. Where do I start?
Please go to Get Help page. There you can find detailed information on Prescription Assistance.
I don't have health insurance and I need to see a doctor. What can PCP do for me?
PCP has a network of physicians who have volunteered their time to provide free care for people in need like you. If your income falls below 150% of the Federal Poverty Line and you are unisured, please email email@example.com or call (706) 208-9700 and ask to speak to a PCP representative. We will assess your current situation and do our best to assist you.
All member physicians will receive 'Sovereign Immunity' while administering medical care to registered patients for both the themselves and their practices. This is made possible through the State of Georgia Department of Public Health. By becoming a member of the Georgia Volunteer Health Care Program (GVHCP), a physician will have full liability coverage while administering care to registered PCP patients.
We greatly appreciate your willingness to volunteer. There are many ways you can help. Please register with us so we can contact you and make best use of the time you volunteer with us. For more information please visit our Volunteer Page.
